COVID-19 Managing Director's Statement
Outlining the effects of Coronavirus for the property sector, ODOS Properties, our clients and our staff.
Statement from James Graham - The Managing Director of ODOS Properties.
'BUSINESS AS USUAL'
"The board of Directors have discussed the impacts of COVID-19 on our company, staff and clients.
The market will naturally slow down at this point due to the implications of COVID-19. Viewings, enquires and offers will reduce significantly over the next few weeks (as the previous week has shown). Proceeding with booked viewings is obviously your choice. We will be advising any new potential buyers who wish to view properties that if they have any signs or symptoms of the Coronavirus that we will not be allowing them to visit the property and we will reschedule these appointments in the near future.
Understandably, you may be nervous about potential agreements falling through. I want to urge our clients to have faith that our staff will be doing everything to install confidence in buyers and sellers to continue in getting a successful sale or purchase. We are working with legal companies up and down the country who have processes in place to ensure the legal side of sales and purchases will not grind to a halt and we will be doing everything in our power to meet our deadlines.
I am proud to say that thanks to our bespoke software and cloud services all of our ODOS staff have the full ability to work from home with no disruption to operational effectiveness should they feel the need to self-isolate. Staff members are advised to self-isolate should they feel any symptoms related to COVID-19 and follow the guidelines laid out by
In conclusion, it's 'business as usual' for ODOS Properties!
The majority of Estate Agents will have a challenging time over the next few months due to lack of the business available. Our board has come up with a variety of plans to ensure that we will continue to thrive during these challenging times and that we will be able to maintain our excellent service to our clients, whilst making sure the health of our customers, partners and staff is our number one priority.
Finally, I understand that many homeowners might be worried about meeting mortgage payments etc, and rightly so! Should
helping hand, advice on mortgage holidays offered by the banks or anything else property related, we would be more than happy to offer our assistance - simply call 01531 825736 to contact our team"
